How enquiries are handled.

This notice describes how CodeLab1 handles website enquiries, technical requests and browser storage.

Information you provide

The form collects your name, email address, optional company name, enquiry topic and message. It also records your privacy acknowledgement, a request reference and the time of submission. Please do not submit financial account credentials or sensitive personal information.

Purpose and storage

Enquiries are stored in the website’s hosted database so the site owner can review and respond to them. They are not displayed publicly. The form does not subscribe you to marketing communications. A copy of your enquiry is sent through Namecheap Private Email to info@codelab1.com so our team can respond. Your email address is included as the reply-to address. If delivery is temporarily unavailable, the saved enquiry stays in the database and notification delivery is retried.

Website hosting and request information

The website runs on a dedicated server. Its web server processes technical request information, including IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver pages and maintain security. Contact enquiries are stored in a private database with daily backups. This website does not load analytics, advertising services or third-party tracking scripts.

Cookies and browser storage

The current website does not set tracking cookies. When you save the opening privacy notice, essential local storage named codelab1-privacy-v1 records the notice version, save date and that optional cookies are off. This record stays in your browser and is not sent to CodeLab1. The website checks its age and asks you again after 180 days. It is not a visitor identifier. You can clear it using your browser settings, or reopen the panel through “Cookie & privacy settings” in the footer. If browser storage is blocked, you can still use the site.

No optional functional, analytics or advertising services are currently in use. Saving this notice does not give consent to future tracking or to marketing. Closing it also does not give consent. If optional tracking is introduced, visitors must be offered a separate choice before it is enabled.

Questions and requests

You can use the contact form to request access to, correction of or deletion of an enquiry you submitted. Include the submission reference where available.

For questions about your information, contact info@codelab1.com. Enquiries are kept while they are being handled. Website database records are deleted six calendar months after they are marked resolved; the same retention period applies to mailbox copies, which are managed by our team. Restricted database backups are retained for up to 30 days, so a deleted record may remain in a backup until that backup expires. If you believe your enquiry has been resolved but remains open, contact us at the email address above.
